The following information is about FUSRAP.
FUSRAP Defined
Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program, created in 1974 to study sites used during World War II through the 1950s as part of the nation's early atomic energy program. These sites were decontaminated under guidelines in effect during that period. Suing today's more stringent environmental laws and better technology, the Corps of Engineers will restore these environmentally damaged sites.
